Salam Budo!
The Jakarta Personal Protection System blog is officially on-line. Based in Jakarta, Indonesia we are dedicated in teaching and training safety awareness along with safe protection strategies through a combined method of reality based approach, video research and analysis (CCTV & amateur fight videos) and crime prevention methods.
Our mission is to inform and enlighten on the issue of personal security & safety in order to improve the quality of their lives and help educate people in identifying the equations or elements which may lead them to a violent and dangerous encounter.
The reality based training aspect of the system is aimed to develop practical responses against common street attacks, and although the techniques are effective in respect to the students training, dedication, survival will and situation we strongly recommend non-violent, evasive and de-escalation methods over the physical aspects because when it comes to personal safety "fighting ability" is only 5 percent of the personal safety equation, and if you ignore the remaining 95 percent which is a lot to do with awareness and common sense on your part, then you are likely to be more vulnerable to crime and violence than if you had no training at all.
Train Hard, train smart and be safe

Excellent posts Uno san.
I have some ideas for your professional Dojo. You know that our teacher Mr. Hobbs is also a licensed Shiatsu practitioner (Shiatsu is a part of the jujutsu he taught). I plan to learn Shiatsu from him when he comes to Indones. Then you can offer Shiatsu and Yoga (by Tom san) in your Dojo, in addition to Jujutsu, Karate and self-defense. Your Dojo will be a "complete self-protection center". Sounds nice?
